A new interactive website bringing together the Federation of Municipalities and the municipalities of Deir al-Ahmar’s region is set to be launched this fall following a partnership agreement between DRI and Smart Municipality Academy.
Baladiyati Online will boost transparency between the local authority and the community and will serve as an official digital source to share public announcements,municipal decisions,tenders,contracts,and more. It will further allow community members to provide feedback and suggestions. The initiative is part of a broader program to enhance civic engagement as a first step towards establishing the digital port for this region.
