The Solidarity Fund for Ukraine project, supported by Civitates, strengthened Democracy Reporting International’s engagement with Ukraine during the full-scale invasion. The project ensured high-level attention on Ukraine, supported local partners, and developed future-oriented initiatives for Ukraine’s democratic resilience and EU integration.
Key activities included monitoring political developments, a high-impact solidarity trip to Kyiv, and extensive collaboration with Ukrainian civil society to design future projects on democracy, EU accession, and youth engagement. A public high-level conference gathered policymakers and experts to debate wartime democracy challenges, complemented by ongoing advocacy and media outreach.
