The overhaul of Sri Lanka’s constitution was a main promise of the govement elected in 2015. The reform would make the country more inclusive and stronger. Yet,although a reform process is underway,few Sri Lankans know about it. Democracy Reporting Inteational (DRI) prepared the brochure “Let’s Talk About Our Constitution” to provide a fact-based summary of the constitutional reform process and the key proposals submitted within the Constitutional Assembly. DRI widely distributes the brochure in its island wide constitutional outreach activities with a broad range of Sri Lankans,including young people and civil society organisations.
