Achieving Compliance and Cooperation for EU Justice Standards in Ukraine is a two-year initiative (2024–2026) aimed at enhancing Ukraine’s legal capacity to align with EU justice standards ahead of EU accession negotiations. Focusing on Chapters 23 (Judiciary & Fundamental Rights) and 24 (Justice, Freedom, and Security), the project provides technical and expert support to the Ministry of Justice and other stakeholders through gap analyses, upskilling, translation of EU acquis, and transparency of outputs. Led by Democracy Reporting International (DRI) with the Finnish Rule of Law Centre (RoLC) and Centre of Policy and Legal Reform (CPLR), ACCESS accelerates Ukraine’s path to EU integration by strengthening its rule of law framework.
