The “Democratic Accession, Resilience and Engagement” (DARE) project, supported by the German Federal Foreign Office, aims to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic institutions and resilience amid wartime challenges while advancing its path to European integration. Implemented by Democracy Reporting International (DRI) from 2024 to 2026, DARE focuses on aligning Ukrainian legislation with EU standards, fostering expert dialogue on wartime democratic challenges, and enhancing youth and IDP engagement in democratic processes. The project’s activities include forums, expert discussions, particularly international audiences, analytical studies, schools for youth, internship programs, and grants for young people, communities, and internally displaced persons. The team cooperates with state institutions, parliament, local authorities, and experts.
